Puthiya Velicham has provided livelihood training programs for women who lost their husbands due to war, focusing on self-employment opportunities. In addition to skill development, sewing machines were distributed to help them start small businesses. This initiative continues to support families in the Northern and Eastern regions of Sri Lanka.
